I saw a dim candle flicker from the window to my room as I approached home. I crept silently in, and up to my room. But forgetting that I had allowed that boy access into my bed. My room. If I find that he has touched anything in my room to find out who these strangers who's house he now sleeps within really are.
Regardless of Shea's presence I flopped into bed beside him.
"You're home," Shea said with eyes shut.
"You didn't follow me." I said while rolling over.
Shea sleepily sat up and looked at me, I felt his eyes on my back and I rolled over to return to facing him.
"We met one another within the passing day. I have no idea who you are and from what I gather you don't let anyone know you. I'm sorry I didn't follow you, I really am. As much as it seems that you think you can take care of yourself from what I gather you have no control on piecing together when you fall into a bad situation. I saved you once today and from what I can smell off of you what you ingested tonight you must have found someone else to save you." Shea said in a stern whispered tone.
"I don't care if you want me out of your house and out of your bed, but tonight I am here I am in your house and I am in your bed. Hell I'm going to hold you because personally I feel you lack human interaction and know what so do I!" Shea said while laying down and grasping me and bringing me close into his chest.
"Excuse me Shea! I'd appreciate if I could undress myself from this pile of gowns. I know I smell of the night and I just want to slump into a little undressed creature and sleep. I don't care if you're in my house or if you're even in my bed. I just want my normality." I stated with a bittered tone.
As I undressed I noticed Shea's eyes tracing me around the room. He didn't look at me in a manner where he assumed he was in power to make an action towards what his mind might have been racing on about. For some reason this boy has decided to take a position where though we just met he seemed to love me and care for me.
I laid back down in bed and he returned his arms to engulf me. I felt my body weaken within his grip and I began to do this strange thing, a relaxed sensation swept me clean off my feet. I wasn't in need to get up nor read. I just needed to lay there and be with Shea.
The sun rose and coated the grey clouds with a golden hue. My eyes took their time to open and for once I didn't wake at dawn. I rolled over to realize Shea was no longer there. Perhaps he was just another elaborate dream that blinded me into fantasizing about a male bringing interest into my day. I headed to the stairs and realized it was not my room that was empty. I walked through the front door only to be blinded by more breaks in the sky revealing a glimpse of the village as a whole rather than pieces you'd need to approach to see.
"Fallow, glad to see you're awake." A voice sang out from the garden.
Out hopped the Hare in his Hare form.
"Nice knickers girl, shall we return to my shack? I have some texts I'd like you to have, before fate makes a fool of me." The Hare asked.
"Of course I would, but could I possibly bring a new friend?" I tilted my head and asked with a sensual nature.
"Aha, what a girl. Your quite a horrible at that, what a pleasant jester you are when it comes to playing sexual." The Hare laughed as if I weren't sincerely trying.
I walked around the area of my house looking for any sign of Roison, Fraser or Shea. But I couldn't find any of them. Worried I sped up my pace and headed towards Roison's house. I bolted through the front door and stumbled over top of some strange tubes that now lined the floor.
"FALLOW?!" Their voices shrieked
Lifting my head quickly and pushing up from the floor I regained stance and saw the three of them staring at me as though I was the one who was so out of place.
"No one was home, nor were you anywhere to be found. So I came to find you and .... here you are." I said pretending I was never in any sort of panic.
"Fallow! You're bleeding" Fraser and Roison said in sync.
"Fallow.... You're naked." Shea cooed with a velvet tongue.
"Fraser; Roison, fret not I'll clean up Fallow. I am trained to do such anyhow." Shea said with a velvet lick of the air.
The two of us walked back to my house where I sat facing Shea as he whipped together some tonic and pulled out bandages to keep me from falling apart.
"You're a strange girl you do realize? You're graced with a beautiful one of a kind day and you panic. No one here is going to hurt you. We just want to help." Shea calmly stated.
"I found you and you seem to have made it your responsibility to take care of me. I did not ask you to. You just did. I never asked you to treat me like such. You just did. I'm a stranger to you. I don't want you to go and grow feelings for me only for me to runaway, or wind up dead." I sighed.
"Just because I held you, because I flirted and generally want to care for you because from what I can tell the remaining few who do could pass at anytime. I don't want you to be alone in this world. I don't want to be alone either. Excuse me if I was too forward. All that I wanted is to be your friend. Perhaps you should try to make some of those." Shea's tone was honest and he really was alone.

Right So Tell Me Again How You're the Antichrist...?
The Son of Perdition, many false teachers will come and go before the rise of the second Christ. Upon the 'last hour' he shall rise. There can only be one. He will deny Jesus is the Christ, Our Lord and Savior. He will deny God as our Lord and Father and God the Son. He will be a liar and a deceiver like never before. Many shall accept the antichrist for his spirit already dwells upon the earth and he fools many easily. A man of lawlessness, the man doomed to destruction. He shall preform false miracles to gain believers. He plans to use such to rise above God. He shall gain power through being a charismatic, influential and powerful political or religious leader who shall rule the world government for forty-two months. In which time he will bring the world to it's knees. There will no longer be a way of surviving.
It's better to not believe in religion than to not believe and yet support the wrong side.
It's better to not believe in religion than to not believe and yet support the wrong side.
Awake the Plague. (Continued)
Surprisingly enough the Hare's house supplied everything one would need to attend such an event. Though he didn't dress up himself. He simply wore what rags he had on prior.
However he had a wardrobe that had a wide range of attire set for a basketcase of a princess, ever so suiting of myself.
The two of us made it to the throned quarters and the act was on. No strange looks from a world where animals stood upright and wasted wealth drunkenly slept in gutters. The throned quarters parties blast music from out worldly sponsors. Every guest is draped in gold and jewels and holding a good long fag to their putrid lips.
The world seemed to spin and my eyes couldn't grasp a face. My mind wasn't allowing me to talk within my mind and the Hare chuckled as I announced such thoughts of those around me. The more rooms we walked through opened to stranger events that occur within the realm of the riches. Men and women and creatures alike grabbed their seats with in a room where everything was white and ivory.
"Wh-what are we even doing hehe?" I giggled as I leaned into the Hare.
"Well girl were here for one of the lovely events these quarters supply, now when that man comes around with the tray of tumblrs feel free to grab a lovely lilac coloured drink." The Hare vaguely replied.
A water who wore no shirt and had a wildly toned body approached me and the Hare with a platter of drinks, snacks and pipes.
"Now, now girl. Remember what I said, and be a doll and grab me one of those silver sparkling drinks while you're at it, you're a doll." He grabbed a pipe off the platter while my nose shrunk to be a cute buttoned nose, my eyes widened and grew and soon enough, just as he said. I was like a doll.
The drink sent bolts of energy through my body and I felt euphoric. As the Hare wasn't looking I sipped his silvery drink which made my eyes follow the room through glass worm holes. I watched as the Hare smoked his pipe.
"Oh darling, the show is about to begin." The Hare sang.
I turned and attempted to keep my eyes still but my eyes produced blurry watery tubular streams that lead me to the two bodies entering the room. Suddenly like as though I was falling the tubes shot back at me making my view widen once more and now I could see the actions.
A man and a woman walked in. The two were both undressed and began to have sex in front of the crowd. We were all meant to sip our drinks and to smoke our pipes and watch. I felt very unsure of what was happening and I sat with my head tilted as her hair swayed forward and backwards. The grunts and cries sounded false and I knew they were liars. The Hare handed me his pipe.
"Smoke up dear girl." He chuckled.
As I smoked the pipe their grunts and cries and moans changed to words.
"Love once existed within this throned land. But this is what you all see it as now." He moaned.
"Love is extinct. No one loves you beasts. Your kind loves himself and uses you all as sex mules to his twisted ideal that sex is love." She cried.
"You all disgust us. Look at how you use outworldly beings as artistic life forms. You must feel so proper. Are you truly taking in our art? More than likely not. You'll forget about this all." She grunted.
"But yet not all of you are such fools. The Hare is a philosopher and the girl in his company is a saint masked by alterations to her status." He cried upon finishing, the two stood and took a bow and then their eyes shot across the room to myself. Which lead every set of eyes turned towards me and the Hare.
As I looked to my right I realized the Hare had gotten up and left, I quickly looked left and saw him hopping quickly into the next room where lights pulsated.
"Where are you going." I called out while chasing him through the room where naked bodies danced while the lights throbbed and music whaled.
"Follow me, follow me. Don't let them catch you dear girl." The Hare shouted while waving his hand towards me asking me to hurry.
I caught up to the Hare and we made our way outside to the courtyard. A cluster of white horses stood sparking by a pool of water.
"Well girl help me onto one of those beasts and let us go. Return me to my shack. We must get out of here fast." The Hare said while in a rush. reached down helping the Hare secure himself to my side as i leaped onto one of the stallions and rode off towards his home.
"Why are we running? What did we do wrong?" I asked desperately.
"You must have said what that boy said, You Are A Saint dear girl. He caught your presence, and of all people those two are the most capable to acknowledge a saint." The Hare explained.
"You don't mean those two were outer worldly do you? I thought that was just a rumor that had crept into the villages to make us envy and fear the throned. What do you mean I'm a saint. I'm just a vague girl from the valley. I lost my parents and was taken in after running away with gypsies from my town which was burned down. I'm not a saint, if I were they would have taken me too." I whimpered.
Soon enough the two of us were back at the Hares house and I leapt off the horse with the Hare. He fed the horse a sugar cube from his pocket that made the horse shrink into a mouse which he held in his palm and carried up to his shack. As he continued up the stares he transformed back into the man he was before and he waved goodbye and said
"Goodbye my Saint, it'd be nice to be blessed by your company again soon." The old Hare chuckled.

Awake the Plague. (Continued)
"So Mr. Fae isn't your husband, but rather your father I assume from your reaction and tone." Shea analysed from my response.
I walked over to my bed where Shea had walked from, I sat and looked at him and closed my eyes and fell back into my bed. Within my mind I analysed Shea.
His eyes were a foggy green and he seemed as though he has had a simple life. He must have been from a better village where the boys can attend class. Which would further to explain his strange kit and steamed bike.
"Fallow, Fallow?!" My eyes opened to the pleas of Shea. I swiftly opened my eyes shocked to Shea's fright.
"Oh, I'm sorry Fallow. I was concerned with how your body would have responded to the shocks of that cold water. Within my work I've seen numerous people who appeared fine one second close their eyes the next and never open them again." Shea sighed as he stepped back from my bedside.
After the four of us ate together and Roison returned home with my father's assistance. He himself returned moments later and retired to bed. Leaving the two estranged teens.
"Would it be forward of me to ask to be taken in for the night? With all that happened today I hadn't had much time to prepare a camp for myself." Shea politely asked.
"Oh why sure, feel free to sleep in my bed tonight."
"If I'm in your bed where will you sleep?" Shea asked in confusion.
"I'm really not sure, anyways I'll see you tomorrow." I said while heading towards the door.
"WAIT? Where are you going?" Shea startledly said.
"Out." I said with the door more so behind me.
Sometimes I feel how vague I am can be cruel, but there's a chance that Shea will follow me. I walked the same route I did this morning except I wandered off course and through the forest. I followed fireflies and strange scents admits the air. Leading myself into a swamp where a road followed the curves of a mountain while damp ground led to a shack held high off the ground with two staircases leading to doors on either side of the shack.
I made my way up the stairs to the door where I knocked and announced myself
"Hello, is anyone in? ...Can I come in? .... I'm just going to come in now."
Within the house sat a man by a small cast iron stove reading a book. He had white hair that was as crazy as a wild flower. His ears and nose were large and like a tree's rings spoke his age. He was a thin man long arms and short legs. His hands engulfed the book and his eyes were enlarged by his glasses.
"Oh what a guest, Are you far from home?" He asked.
"I guess you could say that I have no home." I replied.
"Where did you come from then if you have no home?" He asked with a calm state.
"I came from a village which appears to be home." I replied.
"Were you raised there? Or did you just stumble upon the village like you did upon myself?" He asked with what seemed to sprout great interest.
"I was raised there but I also stumbled upon it. It is home but at the same time it is not." I replied.
The man shook his ears causing them to grow upward into the ears of a hare.
"Dear girl, where is home to you?" He asked while twitching his nose that shrunk to a snout of a hare.
"As much as anywhere could be considered home, nowhere seems to be home." I replied.
He now pushed his foot off the ground before standing up from his chair and placing his book on the table. Once the book was secured the man fully transformed into an abnormally large hare. However his glasses remained and his clothes seemed to shrink to size.
"What a wonder you are." The Hare chuckled. With a hop in his step he hopped on over to a small cupboard where he pulled out a pipe and packed it with some lovely coloured leaves and lit it with a hot poker from his fire.
Hopping back towards myself and his chair he climbed back and positioned himself to the same stance he had upon my entering.
"Take a seat dear, join me and my pipe." The Hare asked politely.
So like any other girl my age I sat and shared a pipe with a Hare. We spoke of philosophy and life until he remembered he had an invitation to a Social in the throned quarters. Now that he was one high hare he felt that inviting myself to crash the event was but a rich idea he could never turn down.

Awake the Plague. (Continued)
We didn't take the path I came back to my village. He must have known the knights would continue down the path knocking aside anyone in their way if not slamming a cast iron cage onto their head to which indicating that they were seen as sinners, and soon to be offerings to the throne's church.
Following down paths I felt only I and other locals knew about we made it to the village before the knights. I moved my hands up to the boy's shoulders and asserted my footing on his bike. As he sped around the village passing the shadows I screamed
"THE DARK KNIGHTS ARE COMING!!"
To which I heard my voice echo back saying things such as "The darkness is coming." It's strange how an echo can guide one's voice.
The familiar shadows of those of the village disappeared, I pray that they make it to a spot they wont be found out.
I directed the boy to my house where he crashed his bike into a bush sending our limp bodies into the small stream behind my house. Upon running to the house I grabbed Roison's hand and pulled her inside. The boy followed blowing out any candle and the four of us hid in an underground drying room we had dug out for such occasions.
We sat in silence, Roison was curled up in the arms of my father as he covered her ears so she wouldn't hear the knights and their horses painful footsteps.
I found myself out of breath and leaning into the boy, I was shaking from the cold river's grasp and bit my lip to stop my teeth from chattering. A sharp crunch sound announced that I had bitten through my own lip, to which the boy wrapped his arm around me and slipped his fingers between my teeth to cease further damage. An hour must have passed before the bells of our neighbors rang announcing it was safe to come out.
I went first up the ladder slowly lifting the thick door to our hideaway, peering my eyes around the room to ensure nothing had moved and that they hadn't left anything behind. The three followed behind me, I felt Roison clench my hand for her own comfort. The boy pulled out a small device from his pocket and lit numerous candles and lanterns around the house. He headed out to the river to fetch some water and returned with a kettle full to brew the lot of us some tea.
"Well my little Fae, wont you tell us who this nice boy is?" Fraser shakenly said while trying to brighten the mood.
"I'm Shea Middlan, your daughter Fae wouldn't know that though. She generally likes to not only talk to strange men under bridges but she likes to invade their privacy." He announced.
"For the record I was not bothering a strange man, but rather curious about what an estranged boy was doing under the bridge with his odd trinket kit. Also my name isn't Fae, it's my surname." I said with a whip of my tongue.
"Excuse my child's quick wit boy. Her name is Fallow, she would have let you find out on your own if it wasn't for me. I'm Fraser, this is Roison and welcome to our humble abode. May I ask why you two are drenched in bog water?" Fraser said with his sweet curiosity.
"Fraser I guess our dinner date is not only going to be early tonight, but it looks as though we will have some guests." I sang.
"Fallow found me under the bridge down the road, I am a plague worker. I was brewing some new medicines from your villages lovely abundances of life from this death filled air. Hoping that they could serve to heal some of those with death at their feet. I was interrupted when Fallow peered over the bridge and struck up conversation with a heavy chain of questions. I heard the knights approaching as their horses' hooves echoed through the ground and bridge. So I climbed up by her side and swept her to safety. But rather than remaining under the bridge she plead to return to the village to warn those in the village. We rode to the village on my steam engined bike, which I then crashed into your bushes which sent us hurtling into the stream." Shea said with a calm voice.
Roison and Fraser's faces laid blankly upon Shea, they had no idea what he had just said to them, but they were too sweet to even question a single word Shea just said. Though with how they looked at the two of us I would assume they thought they were seeing sparks.
I watched as Shea tried to explain his chemistry and bike to the two. His hair was like a soft brown damp mop. Roison had asked him to remove his clothing to be washed and dried for his troubles. This house is not large and I was asked to show Shea to my room for him to change. I grabbed from an old chest in my room a fairlawn shirt, a nice pair of trousers and a set of undergarments that I felt would fit the boy. As I turned around he stood in his birthday suit hands fearfully covering his parts and he was stripped of his confident expression.
"Here you are Shea." I said while handing him the new attire. He grabbed them quickly and waited for me to leave.
"Oh no boy, I'm not leaving you to fondle through my things to figure out who I am. This is my room and you're a guest in it. I know I should have manners and to trust a guest alone in my room. But as you said you're just some strange man I stumbled upon." I said with personal dominance.
"Uh aha well, I guess you have me there. Are these your husband's clothes?" Shea said while dressing himself, he really tried to maintain some modesty.
I ignored his question and sat in silence as he resumed dressing. He stood up and stepped forward as the sky broke a stream of light into my room. It landed upon Shea as I looked up and mumbled,
"They're my father's."

Awake the Plague. (Continued)
Walking out the door to our small village in the throne's shadow everything seemed to be foggy and other town folk seemed to be but shadows of people going about their day. Behind our polite home and shop was a farm that Roison a local widow has decided to grow and share with us in thanks for our support since the death of her husband. My adoptive father makes some of the finest swords and daggers this area has ever seen, not only are they of the greatest quality, but they look as though Ares' tears had formed them. Unfortunately my father goes unnoticed.
Within the next six days I will become eighteen years old, my father knows and as does Roison. I'll come home to a small cake that will be split into three portions. They will insist I eat it all, but I want them to taste it and enjoy it with me. Otherwise I might as well be eating mud. The portions will be a bite or less, but either way I will see the two of them light up with happiness. That is all I ever want, I wish I could keep them safe and see their happiness always. But the truth is I haven't seen many faces in this village that aren't dull or worn out. If the sun's absence is at all relevant here, it may have to do with the unpleasant moods of the villages surrounding the throne. Along with the toxic moods that pour from the throne's decisions.
I find myself walking down the cobblestone paths to the bridge over the stream. My days often consist of wandering the town, wandering the countryside and sometimes if I'm really bored I'd sneak into the throned quarters to witness the puppet play they believe is life.
Today however I've found a boy. The boy sat under the bridge with a strange set of tubes and bottles. With a black cloak and boots and a strange mask nearby. The air was filled with a strange smoke that came from his trinket machine. Flames spat blue and purple streaks, water and liquids bubbled and the boy sat filling an odd bottle.
"Excuse me boy, What are you doing down there?" I said like a girl disguised as a cat.
"Excuse me miss, Well what are you doing up there?" He said with a witted slur.
"Hmmm, what a question. Well I'm not putting strange fluids in a jug, I'm not in a midnight cloak and boots, I don't sit with a mask by my side, nor am I streaking the air with coloured whisped flames bringing an intoxicating fume to the air. What about yourself?" I replied.
"Well I'm not snooping around in other's business, nor am I .." He climbed up as quick as his smart wit to the bridge. He was in front of me for only a second but enough time to engulf me in his cloak and roll over the edge of the bridge. We landed near his strange kit with me on top of him. He quickly pulled me under the bridge from where he covered my mouth and we watched as two dark sillouhettes of the throne's dark knights rode to where I was standing. They stood for a second before heading towards my village.
"Nor am I about to meet an untimely demise." He finished.
"What are they doing in this area? The presence of them never means anything good." Fear fell from my lips as my heart sped up.
"Of course they aren't going to do any good to that village ahead. I assume you're from there?" He did not seem to fear the knights or what they'd bring to my village.
"Enough questions boy, I need you to help me make it back to warn the villagers to hide. Please!" I felt a tear fall down my cheeks in as much as a rush as my heart. It fell from my face to his hand where his eyes then followed.
"Oh, well sure..." He seemed to change to follow my reaction to the knights.
He lead me to this strange machine he quickly packed his trinket kit into. I had never seen anything quite like it, so he mustn't be from a village.
I watched as he quickly head to the river with a bottle at hand, he scooped up water and twisted the jug into a small compartment within the thing.
"Okay now put this on and hop on the bike." He asked while handing some strange leather cap with goggles my way. He had his own on in a flash, while I sat fiddling with mine on what he referred to as his bike. I barely had it on when he said,
"You may want to hold on." He said as he stepped on some peddle to make us speed away towards the town.

Awake the Plague.
In a day where the skies over the villages rained only ashes, where night fall meant death would have taken it's toll in the morning came the men in the masks to bring remedies to the people of the throne. They worked their wonders feeding the ill their concoctions in hopes that death would remain next to the ill's feet and never make it to their heads.
Though the bleak and the weariness that laid among the people lives carried on and death was not feared by all. For death was just a fact of life one could never quite avoid, but only escape the grasp of for some time.
The sun rouse bringing the grey ash born sky aglow, birds began their morning song disregarding how bleak they days really are. Morning is morning and it shall be welcomed regardless of how weary the sky's state was. With morning woke many who went about life working to maintain what little they had. But upon all the eyes that opened to another routine day woke a young girl.
A girl with soft white hair that resembled a lamb caught in the moon's rain. Hey eyes gleamed with blue that reflected oceans from far away, within her right eye was a fleck of gold one would only see if they were ever to have the grace to be that close to her face. She was seen to be fragile and like a gentle diamond in build. But the girl was far from being a dainty grace to one day.
Known for being mysterious, everyone felt they knew her but not a soul could ever gather every detail about her, for she was very secretive and seen as mysterious. Though she was but only being vague.
Her name Fallow Fae, born with water in her veins and the moon in her eyes. Her parents mysteriously vanished and like any other village rumors were all that remained in their place.
Fallow woke at dawn as the wind crept through her windowsill, as the birds song whispered in.
As my eyes woke to the whispers of the world around me I knew another day had began once again. Thankful I did not pass in my sleep, but however like any other day I am quite unaware of what the world has in store for me.
My feet graced the cool wood floor and I walked steadily on the tips of my toes to the stairs. I headed to the kitchen bellow and grabbed an apple and kissed the forehead of the old swordsman that made an effort to replace my parents.
"Dear girl, where are you heading today? An apple shouldn't be the only thing you eat, why not sit down for a change? Come and eat breakfast with an old man before he forgets your face." Fraser gleamed.
"Fraser my father, I doubt you'd forget my face. I thought throughout our years that you had memorized every detail of it by now. You know I cannot sit still long enough in the morning, I'll be back by the time the sun begins to set. I'll take a seat with you and tell you glimpses into the events that unraveled within my day, and YOU can tell me anything as you please because I love everything you have to say." I spoke with such a honey tongue.
"Try to be careful dear girl, the last thing I want is you to get in a situation you cannot flutter your lashes to get out of." Fraser pleed.
"I promise you that I will not only come home in one piece, but that I will never wind up in a situation I cannot handle. But regardless to if I do, you know I will make it out in time to have dinner with you. If not than I recommend calling in all the goodhearted men in the land to track down what remains of me." Said with a wink before I bit into my apple.
