Though the bleak and the weariness that laid among the people lives carried on and death was not feared by all. For death was just a fact of life one could never quite avoid, but only escape the grasp of for some time.
The sun rouse bringing the grey ash born sky aglow, birds began their morning song disregarding how bleak they days really are. Morning is morning and it shall be welcomed regardless of how weary the sky's state was. With morning woke many who went about life working to maintain what little they had. But upon all the eyes that opened to another routine day woke a young girl.
A girl with soft white hair that resembled a lamb caught in the moon's rain. Hey eyes gleamed with blue that reflected oceans from far away, within her right eye was a fleck of gold one would only see if they were ever to have the grace to be that close to her face. She was seen to be fragile and like a gentle diamond in build. But the girl was far from being a dainty grace to one day.
Known for being mysterious, everyone felt they knew her but not a soul could ever gather every detail about her, for she was very secretive and seen as mysterious. Though she was but only being vague.
Her name Fallow Fae, born with water in her veins and the moon in her eyes. Her parents mysteriously vanished and like any other village rumors were all that remained in their place.
Fallow woke at dawn as the wind crept through her windowsill, as the birds song whispered in.
As my eyes woke to the whispers of the world around me I knew another day had began once again. Thankful I did not pass in my sleep, but however like any other day I am quite unaware of what the world has in store for me.
My feet graced the cool wood floor and I walked steadily on the tips of my toes to the stairs. I headed to the kitchen bellow and grabbed an apple and kissed the forehead of the old swordsman that made an effort to replace my parents.
"Dear girl, where are you heading today? An apple shouldn't be the only thing you eat, why not sit down for a change? Come and eat breakfast with an old man before he forgets your face." Fraser gleamed.
"Fraser my father, I doubt you'd forget my face. I thought throughout our years that you had memorized every detail of it by now. You know I cannot sit still long enough in the morning, I'll be back by the time the sun begins to set. I'll take a seat with you and tell you glimpses into the events that unraveled within my day, and YOU can tell me anything as you please because I love everything you have to say." I spoke with such a honey tongue.
"Try to be careful dear girl, the last thing I want is you to get in a situation you cannot flutter your lashes to get out of." Fraser pleed.
"I promise you that I will not only come home in one piece, but that I will never wind up in a situation I cannot handle. But regardless to if I do, you know I will make it out in time to have dinner with you. If not than I recommend calling in all the goodhearted men in the land to track down what remains of me." Said with a wink before I bit into my apple.
